In order to ensure the success of the Center, it must have the continual support of the industry and to gain that support, Texas A&M University has assembled an internationally recognized faculty that understands that the discipline of agricultural economics and is concerned with improving the economic rationality of decisions made within the many sectors of the horse livestock industry. This includes both group decision-making and individual firm decision-making. In today's information-based economy, one of the Department's foremost role is to create, apply, interpret and communicate new knowledge for the well being for all horse livestock industry groups.

Critical to that goal will be the sharing of information with the Center, as well as funding for its programs and services. To accomplish that goal, those who wish to avail themselves of the Center's services may become supporters through a membership fee, information sharing or both.

Basic membership services include members only access to downloadable reports from the CEBS website, a bi-monthly EquiNomics e-newsletter, discounts to the annual EquiNomics Conference, as well as free distribution of member press releases to the press and other members. Other benefits are outlined below.
